A friend recommended this book to kind of introduce me to astrology. All I can say is WOW. It is so dead on accurate it is scary. It's like she climbed into my mind and wrote down my personality, and how I react to situations and what I need ect... It is very interesting to read about yourself, but also read about others. For a couple of people in my life, the accuracy of their personalities was so accurate and eye opening it was alarming for them. One person who has a lot of negative things in her life and never gets what she wants read her section and really didn't want to hear it. Because the areas she needed to work on were TRUE and she didn't really want to admit it, or hear it. I would recommend this book for anyone who is OPEN to hearing these things and understands that maybe some of it might not be accurate, but for the most part (in my experience) it was creepy how much of it IS. It really does give insight to not only yourself, but others as well.

This book is fine if you already have your chart done. You need to know where your South and North Nodes are located . While the book goes into detail, I found most of the traits described did not fit my personality. The book while well written, did nothing for me. It did not hold my attention. I think it is good for a person who wants to learn to read charts for clients-- it would give them plenty to say. However true or untrue.

I've been into astrology most of my life and have purchased many books on the topic, always seeking more understanding of self and others. This book is the answer.... love that it gives explanations from the perspective of lifetime lessons/purpose. It is simple and direct and cuts out abstract information. It is everything rolled into one and so easy to digest. Forget the rest! It absolutely nails the prsonalaties perfectly while explaining the behaviors. Jan Spiller makes so much sense and has helped me understand some long time dilemmas. I couldn't recommend it more.

If you think knowing your horoscope is enough, think again. When I first learned my rising and moon signs years ago from knowing my time of birth, it opened all kinds of doors. This book takes it a step further! Jan Spiller in this book answered many, many, many Q's that I had about myself including the frustrations. NOW, I understand why I've been doing some of the self defeating behavior that's been holding me back from my desires and dreams. If you have the guts and the courage, I dare you to read this and not be changed for the better.................

No matter if you believe in astrology or not, great book for self exploration. Take only what makes sense to you. Really enjoyed author's forward, can feel she is a compassionate person. Great book! A must have for physicians even.
